The Junior Inter-County Team is for juniors aged 10–18 who would like to represent Swansea in friendly local inter club competition! We have a limited number of spots for boys and girls who want to play singles and doubles matches so we are required to select some players over others.

Our selection criteria are as follows:

• Skill level as demonstrated at tryouts and through past tennis events
• Enthusiasm for competing
• Commitment to the Swansea Team (ability to attend practices regularly, and to support other members of the team in matches and practice)

All players that are interested in trying out for the team must attend at least one tryout (though they may attend more if they wish).

Tryouts will be held at the Swansea Tennis Club courts in Rennie Park. Tryouts are free and do not require registration. Tryouts and first practices are held in April.

• Team Practices: Fridays 5:30–6:30 P.M.; Tuesdays & Thursdays 7–8 A.M.
• Team Matches: Saturday Mornings (usually 9 A.M.–12 P.M.).

If accepted on the team, players must be junior members of the Swansea Tennis Club and there is an additional $50 fee.
